Biography
Poet, writer and editor, June Crebbin has had a lifelong passion for poetry. June has tutored adult and children's poetry workshops. She began writing in 1971 and took early retirement in 1990 to write full-time. June's poems are often broadcast on BBC Radio.

When did you start writing?
When I was seven! I enjoyed reading so much, I wanted to write my own stories and poems - and I haven't stopped since!
Where do you get your ideas?
From my family, friends, children I meet - things they say or do, eg: our grandson, Michael, when he was two, used to tell his grandpa and me to "Behave!" That went into Snap-Happy Annie - when Annie's mother says: "Now just behave - and don't go snip-snapping all over the place. It's not nice."
