Jan Omerod is a well known illustrator of children's books. Her first book, Sunshine, a picture book without words, brought her instant success, winning the Mother Goose Award, voted the Australian Picture Book of the Year and listed as an ALA Notable Book. Her other books include Moonlight (sequel to Sunshine), 101 Things to do with a Baby, Rhymes around the Day and Father Christmas and the Donkey. She has also illustrated a sumptuous edition of Peter Pan published in Viking Kestrel. Jan Ormerod lives in Cambridge with her two children, Sophie and Laura.
