I think this book is very out there and humourous the author Jeanne Willis uses a lot of exaggeration on the characters which makes them act funny and it ends with disasterous consequences when he puts revolting ingrediants in his cake. I love the illustrations because it stands out and gives the characters a different picture to what they look like in our heads than in the book, i also love the colours that Korky Paul has used they are very vibrant and match with their description. Overall i think this book is certainly good for a laugh
