Did Anne ever manage to see some of her friends again? How exactly did she die? Did death visit her in a gas chamber or simply through starvation? This is a one of a kind book which helps the curious minds among us to satisfy their brains to overflowing with the background information which was never published in Anne’s diary. From gathering up information through Anne’s friends and her surviving family the author of this charming tale has found all the answers to the questions which are most commonly asked from the vast amount of Anne’s fans. Discover the truth which lay behind this popular young girl, about Anne’s previous life and unknown facts from inside the Annexe where she and her family went into hiding for about two years. The truth about her ghastly perish and her family’s too. This tale is written in a style best for eight to twelve year olds which can be read over and over and referred to in the future. The best aspect for me in this true story is the way the author makes you want to read on, to find out more about the young Anne who we all learnt to love. For that reason I would like to read more of Carol Ann Lee’s books for she has a pure talent for the art of writing without any difficulty and still succeeding in drawing the reader into her woven tales.
