Book Report Luke Lancelot - and the Golden Shield Introduction The book is called 'Luke Lancelot - and the Golden Shield'. It's written by the award-winning children's author Giles Andreae. It was published by the Penguin Group in 2004. It's 134 pages and 19 chapters in the book. Theme in the book: Inside every boy there's a hero. Main Part Luke loves everything to do with knights. So it doesn't seem fear when his older brother, Arthur, is given ancient sword for his birthday. But suddenly Merlin himself picks Luke up and Luke is swept into an incredible adventure. Luke finds out that Arthur and their sister Gwinnie also has been swept into to this fantastic new world. In this world there are dangerous dragons, huge castles, magic shields, powerful swords and real knights Everything Luke ever wanted to be a part of. But before Luke can be a real knight he have to show that he is worthy . The conflict in the book is, as always, between good and evil. Merlin's Golden Shield has been stolen by an evil sorceress, and Luke's mission is to find the shield and return it safely back to Camelot. On his journey he meets many dangerous tasks, red dragons and sorceress he have to defeat. Luke soon discovers that there is much more being a knight than he ever imagined. My opinion about this book I find this book very exciting. The book is well written and it's easy to read. So I recommend this book for children aged from five to sixteen or everyone that have a passion for knights.Product details
