The gods of Olympus are alive in the 21st Century. Poseidon is one of the big three gods, the control many things like dead people. Percy''s friend Grover is also a normal kid, yeah right! Grover is a satyr, which is someone half goat and half human. After a hauting meeting with a Fury Grover takes Percy to Camp Half Blood, a camp for Demi Gods. There he meets Annabeth, who is a daughter of Athena.
This book has all the ingredients of a fantasic book, adventure, cliff hanger and its also just downright funny! Read it, and you won''t ever regret it. '

Percy jackson and the lightning theif is a book i read more than once. There isn't a bit that disappointed me other than when i found the god percy's father was, but i did start feeling grateful it wasn't zeus after a while. I have read all books upto the third which i will buy on the 26th of march in a trip. A book that you cannot drop.
