'My daughter''s just started reading and isn''t an independent reader yet. While she''ll race through her school reading, she prefers me to read her storybooks. So I was chuffed that Genie Street has piqued her interest and she''s keen to read it to me. The stories are great and there are enough illustrations to help prompt her, without it feeling like (in my daughter''s words) ''a baby book''. We''ll be buying the others in the series!'
