Sudha Mooney, a freelance storyteller and workshop leader, will help children to create a play to be performed on Roald Dahl Day and at our weekend celebration. Activities will include creating props and costumes, as well as writing and performing. For more information call 01494 892192

All you have to do is send a postcard to the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre for your chance to win a fantabulous prize
How do I enter?
Imagine you are a Roald Dahl character. Where would Mr Twit go on holiday? What museums and libraries would Matilda like to visit? Which hotel would be big enough for the BFG? Write a holiday postcard from your favourite Roald Dahl character and send it to the Roald Dahl Museum. There are two prize draws you can enter:
1. The Schools Postcard Prize Draw
Primary schools can win a year’s subscription to The Time Educational Supplement plus a class visit to Seven Stories or the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre (Including up to £150 towards travel). Send postcards for this draw to Schools Postcard Prize Draw, The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, 81-83 High Street, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, HP16 0AL, with each class’s entries marked separately. Include the school’s name and address, phone and email contact for the teacher, and which museum you would like to visit. 2. The Individual Prize Draw
Ten lucky winners will receive a Charlie-themed figurine, a book of their choice (up to the value of £15) and a free family ticket to either the Roald Dahl Museum or Seven Stories. Send postcards for this draw to The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, 81-83 High Street, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, HP16 0AL.
