TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• The competition is open to all residents in the UK & Ireland aged 10 and over, with the exception of employees of the promoter, their immediate families and anyone else connected with this promotion.
• This Prize Draw closes on 31st July 2007 and entries must be received by this date. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible or fail to reach the promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason.
• Only one entry per person.
• To enter the competition, solve the clues correctly at www.thedangerzone.co.uk which point to 5 different locations on a map. When you have correctly solved the clues, enter your details to submit your entry to the competition. All entries from those under 16 years of age should be accompanied by written permission from their parent/guardian. No purchase necessary to enter.
• All correctly completed entries will be entered into a draw which will take place on 6th August 2007. The winners will be selected by pulling all entries out of a hat at random. The decision of the promoter as to winners will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The first 10 names drawn will receive an invitation to a 2-day survival course for themselves, one child guest and one adult. It will take place on 1st & 2nd September 2007 in Oulton, Staffordshire. The prize does not include travel to and from the venue. The prizes are not transferable and there is no cash alternative. • Events may occur that render the promotion itself or the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the prizes and the winner agrees that no liability shall attach itself to the Promoter, provided that any prizes shall not be of lesser value than the ones advertised.
• The winners will be notified by [email/phone?] within 4 weeks of the draw taking place. The winners must claim their prize within 14 days of the Promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the promotion rules.
• To obtain a list of winners for any prize draw please email puffin@penguin.co.uk stating the name of the prize draw in the subject heading 4 weeks after the closing date.
• The promoter will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the prize draw, unless otherwise stated in the entry details.
• The winners agree to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.
• By entering the prize draw each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
