Puffin Terms and Conditions
  1. 1.No purchase necessary to enter the draw.
  2. 2.This promotion is open to UK and Ireland residents aged 13 years and over, with the exception of employees of the Promoter, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion. Entries from those aged 13 must be accompanied by written permission from a parent/guardian or with their written consent. The fist entry drawn at random will be the winner.
  3. 3.To enter you must fill in your details on the online form found at www.puffin.co.uk by the closing date below.
  4. 4.Entries must be received by midnight on 30 June 2011.
  5. 5.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not proof of receipt. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid. Entries become the property of the Promoter and are not returned.
  6. 6.All valid and correctly completed entries received by the Promoter by the closing date shall be entered into the pool for the free prize draw. The first entry drawn at random shall be the winner.
  7. 7.Only one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.
  8. 8.The prize for the winner comprises four economy-class air tickets from London Heathrow via Helsinki to Turku for two adults and two children. The accommodation is for four people for three nights at the Naantali Spa Residence in Turku. The winners must travel at the same time on the same flight. Accommodation at an alternative hotel will not be provided. The prize also includes entry to Moomin World for 3 days. Ground transportation is not included in the prize. Travel must be completed by 21st August 2011. Validity of the prize cannot be extended. The prize is strictly subject to availability and blackout dates apply. Once booked the prize is non transferable or refundable. Any additional expenses incurred as part of the prize trip (including all meals other than breakfast, mini-bar, laundry, spa, phone calls, internet access, entrance fees, airport transfers and ground transportation) will be the responsibility of the prize winner and companions. There is no cash alternative available. The Promoter and Prize providers cannot be responsible for unforeseen cancellations of flights or hotel bookings. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to be present at the appointed times and places. Winners not present for any reason or who arrive late at any stage will forfeit their prize. Prize winner and companion are liable for any tax liability accruing as a result of winning this promotion. If the prize winner is under 18 years of age, they must be accompanied on the prize holiday by their parent or guardian.
  9. 9.The prize is subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.
  10. 10.The winner will be notified via email or post by 1 July 2011. The winner must claim their prize within 14 working days of the Promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
  11. 11.To obtain details of the winners please email puffin@penguin.co.uk stating the name of the promotion in the subject heading 4 weeks after the closing date.
  12. 12.The Promoter will use any data submitted by entrants for the purposes of running the promotion. By entering this promotion, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this promotion.
  13. 13.The winner agrees to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.
  14. 14.By entering the promotion each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
