This is a reissue of Eric Hill's first and most famous lift-the-flap book in a more deluxe format.  It is printed on thicker paper and bound in sturdier cover boards with rounded corners, endpapers with a charming bookplate under a flap, and an elegant matt lamination and spot varnish cover finish.

'This book is a real classic, the illustrations are lovely and my son enjoyed looking for Spot and finding the animals, especially the crocodile! However, as he is nearly three, he is getting to the point where he prefers books with more of a story (especially where bedtime stories are concerned), so I think he is beginning to outgrow Spot , hence me only awarding four stars. Great for younger readers though! '
